What "airtime conversion" actually means
Airtime conversion means exchanging Safaricom airtime you don't need for M-Pesa cash. You can't move airtime straight into M-Pesa yourself — Safaricom keeps them separate. A conversion service like JUVANTA bridges the gap: you transfer the airtime to us using Safaricom's standard airtime-transfer feature, and in return we send you M-Pesa cash at the agreed rate.

What you need before you start
- A Safaricom line with at least KSh 200 in airtime.
- Your airtime-transfer PIN set up (dial *100*[PIN]# to set one if you haven't — the Safaricom default is often 0000).
- The M-Pesa number where you want to receive your cash.

If your payout is delayed
Wait a few minutes — Safaricom's network can be slow at peak times. If you don't see your M-Pesa SMS within 2 minutes, message us on WhatsApp with your phone number and the airtime amount you sent. Keep your transfer confirmation SMS as proof.
If a transaction fails
If the airtime transfer itself didn't go through, nothing left your line and you can simply try again. If airtime was sent but something looks wrong, contact support right away with your details so we can check and resolve it.
